Dermal Filler

Dermal Fillers are made up of a substance called Hyaluronic Acid. This substance is naturally found in our skin, and gives our skin hydration and volume. As part of the ageing process our skin looses its elasticity and volume. Thus leading to thinning, and dehydrated skin which further contributes to wrinkle formation. Dermal fillers can be used to restore volume and fullness, giving a more youthful appearance. They can also be used to enhance our natural features and contours such as lips, cheeks, and many other areas. The duration of results depends on the density and type of filler used, as well as the area treated. Ranging from 4 - 6months for lip enhancements, and 12 - 18months for cheek enhancements.

Fuller Lips

7 Things to know about Lip Filler

Lip fillers for more defined, fuller lips

If you dream of fuller lips, lip fillers or lip enhancement can give you the plumper pout you’ve
always wanted – all done in the comfort and privacy of our Dr. Scott's clinic.
Lip fillers are a popular form of facial injectable which work to add greater volume and a more defined shape to the lip area. While lip injections are commonly associated with creating a fuller pout, this beauty treatment can actually be used for many purposes:

Definition: Lip enhancement treatments can be used to define the lips, creating a more
prominent cupid’s bow without the need for lipsticks or lip liner pencils.

Enlargement: Lip fillers can increase the size of the lips, making them a bolder and
more pronounced facial feature, ideal for anyone with very thin lips.

Reshaping: With lip augmentation, it is possible to reshape the lip and mouth area,
turning the corners of the mouth upwards to minimise natural drooping.

Rejuvenation: Lip fillers are a very common anti-aging treatment, adding youthful
volume to lips that have lost their natural plumpness over time.

Smoothing: Lip injections aren’t just for the lips. They can also be used to treat the
surrounding area and are regularly used to smooth fine lines around the mouth.

5 Frequently Asked Questions about Cheek Contouring Filler

What is Cheek Contouring filler?

Cheek fillers are injections that raise the volume of the area above and around your cheekbones. This provides the illusion of a more defined bone structure. By injecting volume under your skin layer, cheek fillers can also smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.
